From the fields of Indiana to the forefront of ag technology, this is the story of how Kyle Albertson's passion for farming became a mission to serve his neighbors.
As a young boy, Kyle Albertson would spend days on the farm working alongside his uncle. Whether it was riding on tractors or sitting in combines, spending time on the land lit a passion inside of him. He would spend the next decade figuring out how to get back to the farm.
Kyle was his best self when he was hauling grain or showing sheep in 4-H. Kyle was determined to make agriculture his daily life. In 4-H, Kyle was a 10-year showman, even designing a custom bracket for his wheelchair to lead his lambs. He attended Purdue University, majoring in Agribusiness management, to prepare for a lifelong career in agriculture.

A trailblazer in the industry, Kyle became the first legal applicator in Indiana in 2020. That summer, he sprayed 500 acres. Every year after that, he's doubled his impact.

The story of the young man with congenital muscular dystrophy who launched a high-tech ag business from his wheelchair quickly gained national attention. Kyle’s journey has led him to share the stage with industry leaders, earn features in Farm Progress and Purdue, and receive the 2021 Tyler Trent Courage and Resilience Award from Purdue University. He has even been invited to Washington D.C. multiple times to meet with Senators to discuss the future of agricultural policy.
This is just the beginning for Kyle and Albertson Drone Service. This is his passion and livelihood.
